Aether / Drop 01
Nothing between you and the ground.
A canvas high-top with an unlined collar, a vulcanised sole, and no logo anywhere on it. Two hundred and sixty grams. Turn it over.

Image-sequence canvas scrub
Three hundred and sixty degrees of nothing
A full rotation, frame by frame, at the speed you decide. Ninety frames rendered from a 3D scene, decoded to bitmaps and drawn to a canvas pinned for three viewport heights.

01
One piece of canvas, unlined. No overlays, no stitched logo, no seam to rub at the ankle.
02
Seven eyelets, set in anodised aluminium. They are the only metal on the shoe and the only colour.
03
A vulcanised sole, bonded rather than glued, so the one part that wears can be replaced without the shoe falling apart.

Materials
Canvas, rubber, nothing else
The upper is one piece of 12oz organic canvas, unlined, cut so the only seam runs up the heel. It softens in a fortnight and keeps its shape for years, which is the whole argument for canvas over anything technical.
Under it, a vulcanised rubber sole — heat-bonded rather than glued, which is slower to make and considerably harder to pull apart. When the outsole finally goes, a cobbler can replace it. That is not true of most shoes you can buy this year.

Colourways
Three, and only three
Each one is the same shoe. We are not going to pretend the colour changes how it wears.
